Regina hosts second annual Conversations with the City event

If you have questions about what is happening in the city, this is the event to get your answers.

The City of Regina is hosting its second annual Conversations with the City event Thursday night to discuss services and programs in the city.

Spokesperson Barry Lacey says the event also gives residents a chance to ask questions on any projects that are currently underway. “There will be staff there from across the city so there will be stations in the cafeteria from pretty much every service the city provides. If residents have questions, we fully anticipate we should have people there to be able to answer and provide information.”

There will also be breakout sessions on topics like the Recreation Master Plan, Waste Plan Regina and construction in the city.

“I think that these discussions and feedback that we receive at these kinds of events benefits the city and its budget planning, but also on its service delivery,” says Lacey. “It think it enables council and administration to better understand resident’s priorities and what’s important to the residents with respect to the services the city delivers.”

The event will take place in the City Hall Cafeteria from 5:30pm to 8:00pm.
