Five-thousand unionized Crown workers begin another day of walking the picket lines Wednesday, as Unifor and the province appear to remain far apart on a new deal.
Unifor members employed by SaskTel, SaskPower, SaskEnergy and four other Crowns are seeking more than the current offer of a five percent raise over the next five years.
Hoping to grab control Unifor members are trying to pick and choose when they work, however on Tuesday SaskTel said they would not allow striking employees that option.

As of Wednesday morning there has been no indication as to when the two sides may head back to the bargaining table, or what type of job action will take place, be it picketing or a work to rule return to the office.
More to come.
