The latest crop report says there was limited harvest progress across Saskatchewan this past week.
Provincial crops analyst Shannon Friesen says 69 percent of the crop is in the bin, up from 55 percent last week but well behind the average of 88 percent for this date.
She says most of the progress was made in the northern grainbelt.
Harvest ranges from 85 percent in the northeast to 51 percent in east central Saskatchewan.
She says the southeast received the largest amount of precipitation, with Moosomin recording 40 millimeters of mixed rain and snow.
Most crop damage this past week was due to strong winds, localized flooding, frost, geese and sprouting.
Friesen says the majority of crops are being harvested tough and damp and put in grain bin dryers.
