Agriculture minister David Marit has wrapped up a successful trade mission to Mexico.

Marit has returned from last week’s six day trade mission and says there are excellent prospects for expanded exports of Saskatchewan canola, oats, flax and livestock.

Marit says he met with several businesses including grain millers and livestock organizations, promoting Regina’s Agribition.

Mexico is Saskatchewan’s fourth largest market, buying 750-million-dollars worth of farm products last year.
