Two weeks since Saskatchewan Crown employees represented by Unifor went on strike, only one deal has been reached, that being a tentative one with the Water Security Agency.
However Friday morning the union and SaskEnergy said they held an “informal discussion” on Thursday.
No new offer was put on the table, and no formal meetings are scheduled with any of the six Crowns still walking the picket lines.
Unifor members would like to see more than the current offer of zero percent for the next two years, followed by one percent, two percent and two percent after that.
Unifor’s counteroffer is three years of two percent raises with lump sum payouts for expired worker contracts at SaskEnergy, SaskPower and SaskWater.
