Unifor has announced they are taking two actions on Saturday after reaching an impasse with the Crowns before the weekend.
In a statement from the union on Saturday morning, they are strengthening support at the picket line at the Poplar River power plant in Coronach, allowing only essential services workers to enter or exit.
Unifor said this will be in place until a tentative agreement has been reached.
Workers will also be leafleting SaskTel dealers across the province in an attempt to encourage customers to take their business elsewhere during the lockout.
Unifor has stated that actions will continue to escalate throughout the weekend.
