There’s a mixed price outlook for wheat being harvested this month in tough and damp condition across Saskatchewan.
The senior market analyst with FarmLink Marketing Solutions, Neil Townsend, sees a highly variable price forecast this fall.
He suggests a target price for high grade wheat is $7.00 a bushel.
“A price of about $7.00 for the year, again I really want to caution that won’t be available everywhere and won’t be available all of the time, but strategically that’s where we’re focusing our attention on is that,” Townsend said.
For lower grade feed wheat, Townsend expects prices to be around 4 dollars 60 cents a bushel.
