A 29-year-old man is facing charges for drug trafficking in the Queen City.

Regina Police say on Friday search warrants were done on Haughton Road and the 3900 block of 7th Avenue East.

A large quantity of drugs and cash were seized, along with other evidentiary items to corroborate drug trafficking.

Police say about 6,677 grams of methamphetamine, 1,600 of cocaine and 177 grams of fentanyl, plus, $59,920 in cash and 514 grams of unidentified powder was seized.

The unidentified powder will require analysis for identification through Health Canada.

RPS says 29-year-old Shah Kahn is facing charges of possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000 and three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Kahn made his first court appearance on Monday and was remanded into custody.
