Saskatoon police have laid a charge of second degree murder against a 15 year old after another 15 year old was shot to death this weekend in what is the city’s 15th murder of 2019.

Gilbert Kagabo (pictured) walked into a business on the 2300 block of Arlington Avenue in the Nutana area just before noon on Saturday in distress. While police, fire and ambulance quickly came to the scene, the boy could not be saved.

The accused in the case, who can’t be named because of his age, was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday afternoon.
