Premier Scott Moe is getting his wish.
After the federal election, Moe stated he wanted to sit down with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to talk about his “new deal for Canada” and it appears he will get the meeting he desires.
Trudeau sent Moe a letter on Thursday stating he is offering to sit down with him at the earliest opportunity
In a statement, Moe’s press secretary, Jim Billington, says Premier Moe is focused on a new deal with Canada, a plan that would take immediate steps to address the frustrations of Saskatchewan people by putting a pause on the carbon tax, addressing the inequity of the equalization formula, and taking meaningful steps to enhance market access for Saskatchewan exports.
