A Regina teen is facing multiple charges, including assault with a weapon.
The Regina Police Service says at about 1:30pm Tuesday, officers were called for an assault report.
Police say a complainant reported a man in their vehicle was the victim of an assault with a bladed weapon and the armed assailant was believed to be behind them in another car.
The 31-year-old victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say they found the suspect leaving a vehicle in the Dieppe area.
The 17-year-old was arrested and charged, but no weapon was recovered.
The teen, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is acing four charges including assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon.
The youth will make his first courts appearance on Wednesday.
