Man charged for Saturday night pedestrian collision that injured a 51-year-old woman

Regina Police have charged a 54-year-old man under the traffic safety act after a pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle and injured Saturday night.

The crash took place around 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Embury Street.

A 51-year-old woman was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious but non life-threatening.

The driver remained at the scene, traffic was diverted until the investigation was completed.

Police say Friday night’s fatal collision also involving a pedestrian remains under investigation.
