All of the action kicks off today at Evraz Place! It’s Agribition time.

It’ll a busy time down at Canadian Western Agribition this week. Gloria and I will kick off our daily broadcasts from McDougall Auctioneers in AffinityPlex.

One of my favourite things to see at Agribition every year are the kids. Over 8000 school students passed through the show last year and I’m guessing they had a ball. Hey, it’s fun just to get out of school for a day, but to go somewhere that you get to walk all over the place and see new things must be exciting. I know I would have loved it when I was a kid.

It’s the chaperones I feel sorry for. While the kids are running around Agribition, you can see the teachers and parents doing their best to keep all their minions together, trying to make sure no one breaks loose from the pack. I can only imagine their anxiety afterwards when the bus comes to pick everyone up, hoping the number of kids getting back on the bus matches the number of kids that came off. Agribition math!
