Federal agriculture minister Marie-Claude Bibeau says the federal government is closely monitoring the strike by CN Rail workers, now into day 7.
Speaking at the opening of Canadian Western Agribition in Regina, Bibeau would not give any time line when Ottawa may take action to put an end to the dispute.
But Bibeau says all options are on the table.
But for the time being, she expressed hope the two sides can reach a quick agreement.
Bibeau met with farm leaders and provincial agriculture minister David Marit Monday in Regina.
Marit and farm groups are pressing for a quick end to the labor dispute at CN Rail.
