A 34-year-old man is dead after a two vehicle collision between a car and semi on Highway 21 south of Eatonia Thursday night.

Emergency crews were called to the scene around 6:00 p.m. about 15 kilometers south of Eatonia.

The 34-year-old man was found unresponsive and trapped in his vehicle, first responders performed CPR until the man could be extracted from the vehicle, however he passed away in hospital.

His named has not bee released.

RCMP believe weather conditions played a factor.

Eatonia is about 45 kilometers south of Kindersley.

Highway 21 has been re-opened to traffic.
