Paddock leads Pats to road win over Rebels

It was another busy night for Max Paddock in net for the Regina Pats, but his team came away with a 4-3 win over the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday night.

Paddock led the way with 45 stops for his fourth win on the year. He’s made 150 saves in his last 4 starts with a .937 save percentage.

Ty Kolle tallied two goals in the win while Carson Denomie had a goal and an assist.

Robbie Holmes punched in his tenth of the season in the second period, which proved to be the game-winning goal after Red Deer’s Cameron Hausinger scored on the power play in the first few minutes of the game.

This is Regina’s second win against the Rebels this season.

The Pats (6-16-2-0) play their third game in as many nights Sunday evening when they visit the Edmonton Oil Kings (16-6-4-2). Pre-game starts at 4:35 p.m. on 620 CKRM.
