Christmas shopping at the Walmart on Rochdale Boulevard was halted Tuesday evening when a fire broke out near the store’s main entrance.

Emergency crews were called to the 3900 block of Rochdale Boulevard at about 8:20pm.
Regina Police say after reports of smoke, staff called 9-1-1 and evacuated the building.
Fire crews were able to put out the fire.
Police say there were no reports of injury or anyone needing medical attention.
There is no word on how much damage there is or what started the blaze.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
The Walmart remains closed Wednesday.
