Charges laid after Wednesday collision

Two men and a teen are facing charges after an incident that ended in a collision Wednesday.

Just before 3:00pm, RPS was called to the alley of the 600 block of Athol Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle and that one person in the car had a firearm.

Police say a high-risk traffic stop was initiated on 5th Avenue with the vehicle taking off and colliding with another car as officers approached.

Police say a firearm was not found in the car, but a machete and vehicle master keys were.

A 37, 25 and 21-year-old men and 14-year-old boy were taken into custody with two of the men and the teen facing a combined 10 charges.

Thirty-seven-year-old Curtis Pambrun is facing five counts of possession of an automobile master key and fail to comply with undertaking.

Twenty-five-year-old Jordan Harkness-Brown is facing charges of theft under $5,000, flight from peace officer and operate conveyance dangerous to the public.

The 14-year-old, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with possession of a weapon.

Investigation also led to a charge related to a gas-drive off theft on Tuesday. All accused make their first court appearance on January 23rd.
