Environment Canada has issued Extreme Cold Warnings for parts of east central Saskatchewan Tuesday morning.

Wind chills near the -40 C mark are being reported in areas including Melfort, Nipawin, Tisdale and Carrot River.

Cloud cover is expected to move in a moderate temperatures later in the day on Tuesday.

Extreme Cold Warnings are still in effect for the far north as well.
