Sask Crop Insurance workers reach new contract agreement

Unionized workers at the Saskatchewan Crop Insurance Corporation have reached a tentative agreement.

The SGEU bargaining unit has been without a contract since October 2016.

The new agreement covers 400 workers in 21 offices across Saskatchewan and the head office in Melville.

Full details were not disclosed but it is in line with recent provincial agreements that have been ratified in the last few months.

Members will receive information in early January and will vote on the deal by mail-in ballot.
