Anyone driving in SK over Christmas shouldn’t have any major problems

Mother Nature is definitely coming through for people in Saskatchewan who may be driving in the next few days.

Environment Canada is calling for temperatures to be above average right through until the end of the calendar year and into 2020 with daytime highs in the minus 5 to 8 range and close to freezing on the weekend.

Terri Lang with Environment Canada says the only worry might be some early morning or late-night fog which could cause some roads to get slippery, but that fog will burn-off.

Lang says the above normal temperatures should stay with us into the start of 2020, but some colder air which will make it feel like normal or just a little below normal could hit by the first weekend of the year

The normal temperature for this time of year is minus 10 for a high and minus 22 for a low.
