The search for a woman in southern Saskatchewan has ended in tragedy.
Assiniboia RCMP say they have located the body of 74-year-old Claudette Ferguson of Wood Mountain Lakota First Nation after a missing person’s report was released to the public on Saturday morning.
Ferguson was last seen driving a red truck in Assiniboia on Friday evening before her disappearance.
RCMP sent out an update Saturday afternoon stating she was located deceased and that her family has been notified.
Police believe her death is not suspicious at this time, however they’re continuing with their investigation.
