The Regina Police Service is investigating after the body of a man was found in a house fire.

Police were called to a house on the 1500 block of Cameron Street on Tuesday at about 9:32am for a house fire.

A man was found by EMS and the Regina Fire Department in the home and pronounced dead on scene.

The next of kin have been notified, but police have not released the name or age of the man.

The Coroner’s office will continue to investigate and an autopsy has been scheduled for next week.
