RCMP are investigating after a man was found dead in the RM of Frenchman Butte just east of St. Walburg in the province’s northwest.

The man’s body was found Wednesday afternoon around 5 o’clock with police believing the death is suspicious in nature.

Numerous teams have been sent to the area with officers trying to identify the man and what led to his death.

An area near where the body was found has been blocked off so investigators can do their work with traffic being re-routed.
