Snowfall warning for west-central Sask.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for west-central Saskatchewan.

The weather agency says a total of 10 to 15 cm is expected.

It explain that a low pressure system is forecast to cross the prairies over the next few days, bringing snow with it. Snow will begin overnight tonight and last until Wednesday evening. By the time snowfall ends, 10 to 15 cm will have fallen.

Environment Canada says rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. You are encouraged to check the Highway Hotline before hitting the roads this time of year.
