It didn’t take long for former Saskatchewan Roughrider Derrick Moncrief to find an NFL home.
The 2019 CFL All-Star linebacker has signed a Reserve/Future contract with the Las Vegas Raiders one day after the green and white released him to pursue an NFL opportunity.
Moncrief registered 69 defensive tackles, four sacks and three interceptions in 17 regular season games with the Riders last season.
He joins the Raiders in the midst of their move to Nevada, as they had previously played in Oakland since 1995.
Moncrief’s agency made the announcement over Twitter Thursday morning.
Client Derrick Moncrief has agreed to terms with the Las Vegas @Raiders on a Reserve/Future Contract! Congrats Derrick! 🎥
