The road to the 2020 Tim Hortons Brier will end in Melville for Saskatchewan’s best men’s curling teams later this month as the SaskTel Tankard is held. The event will see 16 teams looking to earn the right to represent Saskatchewan at the Canadian men’s curling championship which will be held in Kingston, Ontario starting February 29.
On Friday, CURLSASK revealed the first 10 rinks that have pre-qualified. They are:

- Matt Dunstone
- Steven Howard
- Brent Gedak
- Shaun Meachem
- Ben Gamble
- Jason Jacobson
- Ryan Deis
- Kody Hartung
- Sam Wills
The final six competitors will be determined next weekend as three spots will come out of the northern and southern playdowns. They will be held in North Battleford and Swift Current.
