Man faces charges for downtown bank robbery

A 54-year-old Regina man is facing charges connected to last week’s robbery at RBC’s downtown location.

RPS says the investigation began on Monday at about 10:00am when officers were called to the bank on the 2000 block of 11th Avenue.

Police say a man entered the building and demanded cash. The man received an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot. No one was injured.

Continued investigation led to the suspect who was found and arrested on Friday.

Albert Power faces five charges including robbery and disguise with intent.

Power makes his first court appearance Monday.
