Trinidad Drilling out of Calgary pleaded guilty to occupational health and safety charges after an incident near Torquay in 2017.
An employee was injured after a pressurized hose hit a rotating pipe.
The company received $280,000 in fines.
Meanwhile Regina-based Thunder Creek Pork Ltd. was fined after a worker fell from a trailer at a worksite in Moose Jaw in the summer of 2018.
The company was fined more than $42,000 along with a $17,000 surcharge.
