SK rinks make championship pool at Canadian Junior Curling Championship

There is still a lot of work to do, but both Saskatchewan rinks competing at the Canadian Junior Curling Championship in Langley, B.C. have advanced to the championship pool that begins Wednesday.

Saskatoon’s Ashley Thevenot had a chance to win her pool, but she lost her last game Tuesday night 11-10 to Ontario to finish at 4-2.

On the men’s side, Saskatoon’s Rylan Kleiter beat Newfoundland 5-4 to win his pool with a record of 5-1.

The championship pool will start on Wednesday with playoffs beginning Saturday with the finals on Sunday.
