UPDATE: SaskPower sent out a tweet just after 3 o’clock saying service had been restored. The problem was caused due to ice on transmission lines.
Saskpower is giving no estimated time of repair as a large part of east and southeast Regina is without power as are communities like Balgonie, Emerald Park and White City.

The outage hit just before 12:30.
The outage has impacted several businesses in the area as the Tim Hortons on Prince of Wales and Victoria has said they are temporarily closed. There is also no power at the Walmart East location or the Best Buy right across the street
