The Regina Police Service has ruled the death of a man on Friday morning as a homicide.
Officers arrived at 1:30 a.m. to a residence on the 500 block of Wascana Street where they discovered man with injuries described as critical.
Paramedics were called to the scene, however the man was pronounced dead shortly after.
RPS have requested the coroner, major crimes unit and forensic identification units for this investigation. This is the city’s second homicide of 2020.
The man’s next-of-kin have been notified. His name will be released at a later time.
This investigation is ongoing.
