Nutrien will be starting up Vanscoy’s potash mine again in March.

The company says management is reviewing plans for how workers will return to the mine, so the exact startup date hasn’t been decided yet.

It says expectations of a positive trend in the potash market helped lead to this decision.

The mine was shut down in November because of an increased supply in the global potash market.
