A 47-year-old Regina man is facing sexual interference and assault charges involving a teen girl.

The Regina Police Service says officers learned of an alleged sexual assault on a 13-year-old girl, who is not being named to protect the victim.

Police say the man is known to the girl, but not related.

After a two-month long investigation, 47-year-old Antoine Quewezance is facing charges of sexual interference and sexual assault on a person under 16.

Officers say he was released on a recognizance and will make his first court appearance on March 11th.
