Jagmeet Singh to visit Regina Monday and show support to locked out refinery workers

The leader of the federal NDP is going to get involved in the lockout between workers at the Co-Op Refinery and the company on Monday.

Jagmeet Singh will be showing his support for Unifor by coming to Regina and visiting with those who have been locked out since December 5.  That lockout started after the union had given strike notice.

Talks aimed at ending the dispute broke down on Friday resulting in barricades once again being placed around the complex on Saturday with calls for the provincial government to get involved heating up.

Pensions are the main sticking point.
