Saskatchewan ICE Unit arrest and charge North Dakota man in child pornography investigation

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit have arrested a North Dakota man in relation to a child pornography investigation.

On January 31st, Canada Border Services officers conducted an examination of a traveler at a border crossing southwest of Estevan. This examination led to the discovery of child porn on their electronic devices.

The suspect was then turned over to Weyburn RCMP, where he was arrested, and the ICE unit confirmed material and seized 10 electronic devices.

47 year-old Michael Crawford of Williston, North Dakota, faces possssion and importation of child porn charges. He will appear in Weyburn provincial court on Tuesday morning.
