Regina Police charge two men in relation to three robberies

A 26 and 24-year-old man are facing numerous charges related to three separate robberies around Regina.

Twenty-six-year-old Braden John Dumaine is facing three robbery charges, three disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence charges and a charge of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

Twenty-four-year-old Nickolas James Velikas is facing two robbery charges, two counts of breach of probation and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

The first robbery occurred late Sunday afternoon on the 99 block of Cavendish Street, then on Sunday night around 10:45 p.m. a robbery occurred on the 200 block of East Broadway Avenue.

The third robbery took place early Monday morning on the 3200 block of Eastgate Drive.

Police say the suspects were arrested on Monday after locating a vehicle matching the description of one used in one of the robberies.

Both accused made their first court appearances Tuesday morning.

RPS. say they are still investigating these incidents, adding anyone with more information should call police or Crime Stoppers.
