Labour dispute at Co-Op refinery forces limitations on fuel

The lockout at the Co-Op refinery may finally be seeing the company affected when it comes to the fuel supply.

Federated Co-Op has sent an e-mail to 620 CKRM saying limitations in diesel and gasoline have been placed at its Cardlock locations across the prairies.

There is a 100 litre limit per day per card on gas and a 300 litre limit on diesel

The move is being done because of the barricades outside the refinery which is restricting traffic in and out of the facility.

This is day 62 of the lockout which started after Unifor gave 48 hour strike notice.
