As first reported by Michael Ball, the Riders have re-signed hometown hero Jon Ryan.

The 37 year old agreed to a one-year contract extension through the 2020 season. It will be his second with the Riders.

Ryan was the West All-Star punter for the 2019 season. He led the league in gross punting average (48.8 yards) and was 7th in net punting (35.4 yards).

He played 12 seasons in the NFL with the Packers and Seahawks before returning home.
