Carson Denomie and Zack Smith scored in the shootout for Regina, as the Pats topped the Blades 3-2 in Saskatoon Wednesday night for their third straight win.
The Pats opened the scoring on their first shift of the game, 44 seconds in Riley Krane potted his 13th of the season, a new career high.
Drew Englot would score his 10th of the season before the Blades managed to tie the game in the third to force overtime and the eventual shootout.
Donovan Buskey made 23 saves for the Pats and was named the games first star.
Regina improves to 16-26-3-2 on the year, they’ll be back at it Friday night in Swift Current to face the Broncos on 620 CKRM.

The Pats will play their next home game Saturday night, which will be the back half of a home and home against the Broncos.
