The Regina Police Service says they have arrested and charged 39-year-old Mark Mann of Regina after the theft of a large rental truck from over the weekend.

On Wednesday afternoon, police found a moving truck backed up at a property on the 1300 block of Montague Street. Maintaining surveillance of the vehicle that fit the description of a stolen truck, officers followed the truck to the 1400 block of Athol Street.

Once police confirmed the vehicle was stolen from a business that leases and rents out moving trucks and trailers, police arrested Mann without incident.

Mann faces a charge of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

He appeared in court Thursday afternoon.
