The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed receiver Rashad Greene to a contract.
Greene, who was one of the top receivers in US College Football in 2013 as he was a finalist for the Biletnikoff award, was a 5th round draft pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 2015 NFL draft. He played in 25 games for the teams.
During his time at Florida State University, Greene had 270 catches for 3830 yards and 29 touchdowns making him the school’s all-time leader in receptions and receiving yards.
In the 2013 BCS Championship game, Greene had nine catches for 147 yards as the Seminoles beat an Auburn team whose quarterback that day was current Riders defensive back Nick Marshall.
