Regina Police responded to an apparent shooting Sunday morning on the 1700 block of McIntyre Street.

Police were called to the scene at roughly 3:00 AM for a report of an injured person. Officers located a man who sustained a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to hospital with what are being called serious injuries.

This incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or crime stoppers.
