RCMP in Morse have charged a Chaplin man in relation to a child pornography incident that dates back to November of 2019.
On November 29th, RCMP executed a search warrant for a residence in Chaplin that was identified as a place where the offences were occurring. Several computers and digital storage devices were seized for analysis.
As a result, RCMP arrested 56-year-old Robert Ackert on Sunday, and charged him with possession and accessing child porn charges.
Ackert will appear in court on Monday.
