Extreme Cold Warnings continue across Sask. Wednesday morning

Update – Extreme Cold Warnings are in effect for much of central and eastern Saskatchewan this morning including Prince Albert, Yorkton, Melville and Moosomin.

Regina and the immediate surrounding area is also now under and Extreme Cold Warning.

Environment Canada says plunging temperatures and gusty winds will take wind chill values to -40 or-45 overnight and into Wednesday morning before moderating later in the day.

Watch for cold related symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain, muscle pain and weakness, numbness and colour change in fingers and toes.
