Cocaine trafficking investigation leads to double arrest: Regina Police

Regina Police have charged two people involved in trafficking cocaine in the area.

The investigation, led by the Regina Police Service’s drug unit, prompted CDSA and judicial authorizations to be executed last week at two residences in Regina and at a rural property west of Lumsden.

Members attended a residence on the 100 block of Kennedy Crescent, 200 block of Halifax Street and a property in the RM of Lumsden.

Police discovered cocaine, money and evidence leading to cocaine trafficking, which resulted in the arrests of 32-year-old Amber Kvello and 35-year-old Brendon Tarrant, both of Regina.

Tarrant and Kvello were charged with Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Criminal Code charges.

They appeared in provincial court on February 12.
