Extreme Cold Warnings remain in place for central Saskatchewan Wednesday morning.
This includes Saskatoon, Prince Albert, the Battlefords and the Yorkton/Melville area.
Environment Canada says wind chills are in the -40C -45C range on top of air temperatures already at at least -30C for many areas.
Regina and Moose Jaw are not included in the warning but are experiencing wind chills close to -40C Wednesday morning.
Temperatures are expected to warm up to seasonal or above seasonal vales late this week.
The normal daytime high in Regina this time of year is about -6C.
