RCMP upgrade charges from January fatal crash outside of Aberdeen

Saskatchewan RCMP have upgraded charges against 34 year old Tyler Seeley in connection to a fatal crash near Aberdeen last month.

It was a head-on accident January 23rd on Highway 41 south of Aberdeen involving two pick up trucks.

A 67 year old woman, passenger in the southbound truck, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The 74 year old man driving that truck has since passed away from his injuries.

The 4 year old passenger in the northbound truck was transported to hospital by STARS and the 34 year old man driving was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Seeley is now facing two counts of impaired driving causing death in addition to two counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, driving over .08 causing death, and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

Seeley has been remanded in custody and will be back in Saskatoon court March 2nd.
