Regina Police are investigating a break and enter incident that led to an assault on Wednesday morning.

Just after 3 AM, police were called to the 1100 block of Robinson street for a reported gunshot inside of a house. A woman was in the house at the time, and hear people enter the home and fire a gun shot in another room. The woman fled the scene through a window and made the call to RPS.

Police located an injured 21 year-old man in the house who appeared to be stabbed, and was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have not provided a suspect description at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or crime stoppers.
