Linking volunteers to organizations needing help with programs and services is what JustServe is about.
The website is used by a number of organizations in the city like the YWCA or long-term care homes to find residents that are interested in serving in the community.
Southern Sask. rep with JustServe Susan Burgess, said volunteers are able to access the site to view projects and read more on organizations offering opportunities.
“They can determine where they want to serve, it will also give them more time to serve because they’ll spend less time looking for a place to serve,” she said.
Residents can also download the free app on their Android or Apple phones.
